An individual perspective on day one
The published two-day structure includes separate 30-minute conversations with each partner on the first day. These explore personal and family history before the couple moves into feedback and joint work. Ask how individual information will be used in the shared sessions.
Assessment helps set the agenda
The provider uses intake information and a Gottman Connect assessment before the intensive. The therapist reviews that material and discusses the findings with the couple. Allow time for both partners to complete their own preparation before the appointment.
Hotels are nearby options, not the venue
