A CLOSER LOOK

What to know about A Couple’s Place

The two programs serve different needs. The private intensive starts with assessments and individual interviews before concentrating on the couple’s priorities. The Raleigh workshop follows a shared educational curriculum, with private partner exercises and facilitator guidance rather than a personal course of therapy.

BEFORE YOU GO

The experience, in more detail

Preparation shapes the private work

Each partner completes an online assessment after an initial conversation. The therapist also meets with partners individually before bringing the material into joint work. Allow time for this preparation, and ask when questionnaires must be finished for your scheduled intensive.

Choose the right kind of weekend

The workshop is explicitly educational, even though its presenters are therapists. Its exercises happen with your partner, with help available as needed. Couples wanting a detailed personal assessment and a tailored treatment focus should discuss the separate private intensive.

A Raleigh stay is optional

The workshop’s Hyatt House venue is in North Hills, with nearby lunch options. Tuition includes learning materials but excludes the room and lunch, and participants do not have to stay at the hotel. Standard and early-registration prices have different booking deadlines.
