Teaching rather than on-site counseling
FamilyLife’s FAQ says counselors are not available on site. The weekend is built around teaching and activities for the couple, with volunteer prayer support available. A couple seeking dedicated therapy time should discuss that expectation before registering.
Arrange childcare for the full event
Children, including nursing infants, are not permitted in the sessions, and the event does not provide childcare. Couples need to organize their own arrangements so both partners can participate throughout the weekend.
Reserve accommodation separately
The host hotel may offer a limited group room rate, but lodging is booked separately from registration. The general schedule begins Friday evening and ends Sunday around 12:30 p.m.; check the timetable for your selected event before making travel plans.
